Introduction:

Nokia Asha 205 is the new launched model by Nokia. It is a Dual-SIM modern phone with a QWERTY keyboard.

Packaging And Design:

Nokia Asha 206 comes in a box with standard wired headset, standard Nokia charger, user manuals, a Nokia Life Tools brochure and the 1020 mAh battery.

Nokia Asha 206 is 112.8 x 61.1 x 13 mm wide and can be easily carried. It is just 94 grams in weight. The phone comes in Orange, white, blue, and black version. The appearance is quite pretty. The phone has the glossy hard plastic at the front, coupled with the matt keys and the textured and glossy back panel. You can see 2.4 inch 320 x 240 pixels, 167 ppi pixel density, 65K colors, LCD landscape display at the front. You can get access to the magnificent QWERTY keyboard underneath a 5-way D-Pad which is surrounded by left and right soft keys, and the usual calling keys. Also there is a shortcut key for opening Facebook app. Another messaging shortcut key is also available.

At the top there is charging port. There’s also a standard 3.5mm audio jack, to which you can plugin in any pair of headphones. The phone is V shaped in design. On the left there is another sim card slot. At the back there is VGA camera with the loudspeaker situated right next to it.

Hardware:

There’s 64 MB of internal memory on the board of the phone. However you can also use microSD card for more memory. Also there are other features available on the phone like GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, and an FM radio.

However there is no Wifi, GPS or 3G support but still you can load videos from YouTube mobile well.

Software:

The Nokia Asha 205 runs Series 40 User Interface. The layout is quite traditional. The phone posses full QWERTY keyboard which makes typing more easier and comfortable. You can send SMS and MMS. You can insert images, a short video clip or audio recording, etc. The internet connectivity depends upon EDGE or GPRS which is quite slow. Moreover there is also no Flash support. There is IM for Google Chat. Also you can get access to 40 EA Games which you can download easily. These games include many popular games like Need for Speed, FIFA and Tetris. The video playback is also available but the video should be less than 320 x 240 pixels resolution. Taking about the audio, the phone supports MP3, WAV, WMA and AAC. There’s also a variety of apps pre-installed such as Twitter, Facebook, eBuddy, Nokia Nearby, etc.

Camera:

The phone has VGA Camera which captures images with low quality result. The images captured are at 640×480 pixels and video at just QCIF @ 10fps. Also there is no LED Flash. Video results are bad too. Nor the camera posses extra fun effects.

Other Features:

Call quality is good enough too. Nokai Asha 205 posses BL-5C 1020 mAh battery. The battery life time is about 11 hours of talk time. The price of this phone is affordable.

It runs on  Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean operating system with 512 MB of RAM. The phone measures 113.2 x 61.6 x 11.6 mm with weight  120.6 g. It has 3.5 inches, TFT capacitive touchscreen,320 x 480 pixels resolution and support 256K colors. Unfortunately the phone posses the video player which is able to play only MPEG4 videos with resolution 800 by 480 pixels. Call quality is above average with clear and loud voice tones. Moreover the battery life of the battery is one day.

Introduction:

The HTC Butterfly is considered as the company’s first 5-inch phone, and more importantly, the first phone to feature a 1080p display.

Design And Packaging:

HTC Butterfly comes in a pack along with pair of headphones alongside a wall-mount plug that you use together with the supplied USB cable to charge your phone, branded SIM eject tool which helps you to replace the microSim card.

The phone measures 143 x 70.5 x 9.1mm and posses 7.9mm slim body. The phone is quite beautiful and the quality is consistent too. It has been constructed by polycarbonate unibody chassis and thus is no more slippery in grip. The design is really very attractive. The back of the phone is black which has smooth touch.

Controls:

Above the screen you will find light sensors to the right of the earpiece and the 2.1MP 1080p front-facing camera on the left. The front also features three capacitive touch buttons (Home, Back and Menu/ App Switcher). The right side is responsible for the volume settings or say volume rocker.

At the top there is a secondary microphone, the 3.5mm audio jack, and a small plastic flap under which you can have access to the microSD card slot and the microSIM card slot. You cana lso easily lock your phone through Power/Lock button located on the phone. At the bottom there is microUSB port. The back of the HTC Butterfly features the 8MP camera lens and the LED flash right next to it.

HTC also features non-user-replaceable 2020 Li-Ion battery. At the back and near the bottom of the phone there are also loudspeaker grille located for the audio performance. The life time of the battery is about 45 hours.

Display:

HTC posses  5″ Full HD Super LCD 3 display. The display performance is quite outstanding.

Software/User Interface:

The HTC Butterfly runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and Sense 4+, HTC’s own UI that features some custom apps. The phone offers attractive themes. There are several apps available like App & Shortcuts’ widget, weather and clock widgets, ring-like lock screen and many more. HTC also offers a 3-finger output gesture that, if enabled, allows users to turn on HTC Media Link HD output to TV. Moreover you can use different gestures for accessing different controls. HTC’s Gallery app allows users to browse images and videos on the phone. Also the phone offers its own keyboard.

Camera:

The phone features  8-megapixel rear camera with auto focus, LED flash, and BSI (back-illuminated) sensor. You will be able to shoot stills of up to 3,264 x 2,448 pixels in 4:3 mode and 3,264 x 1,840 ones in 16:9 mode through HTC camera. The camera’s startup time is 0.7 seconds and it can take one shot in 0.2 seconds. Also the phone supports 1080p HD video recording. The performance of the camera is good and the video recording is just okay.

Black Berry Z10 is the first smart phone by Blackberry which runs on  new BlackBerry 10 platform.

Packaging And Design:

The BlackBerry smartphone Z10 comes in a  pack with USB cable, AC adapter and Quick Reference Guide. Talking about the design of the phone, it is very simple and decent but quite attractive.  The phone comes in only black and white. The handset looks like iPhone due to the squared sides, rounded corners and solid feel in hand. It is easy and comfortable to carry.

BlackBerry Z10 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC, with a dual-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU and Adreno 225 GPU. In terms of memory, the phone has a healthy 2GB of RAM, with 16GB storage space and microSD card slot. BlackBerry 10 operating system is built on the QNX platform.

You can see the lock screen which shows the current time, date, next event on your calendar and other notifications for new emails, text messages and other social media. BB10 Hub includes your emails, SMS, Facebook notifications. Design And Features:

Black Berry has got a plastic construction. It is a solid and well manufactured handset. The handset is 10.8 mm thick and weighs 120g in weight. The handset is easy, light and comfortable to carry. It is cheaper as compared to the other BB models without compromising on its high quality. The phone posses a beautiful QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen display is good too.

BlackBerry Q5 Screen:

The Black Berry posses an impressive screen. It features 3.1 inch dimensions and 720 x 720p HD resolution. This time, the phone posses an LCD unit. The touch is very responsive and offers bright colors in contrast hence making the display impressive and attractive.

BlackBerry Q5 Performance:

The Black Berry is said to be slower than Black Berry Q10. There is a dual-core 1.2Ghz CPU while in Q10 there was 1.5GHz. Q5 posses 8 gigs storage on the board. There is a microSD slot to expand that, but the 2100mAh battery is not removable.

Similar to Q10, the BlackBerry Q5 will come with pre installed with the BlackBerry 10.1 updated OS, a software improvement that adds a number of keyboard shortcuts and other welcome additions.

BlackBerry Q5 Camera:

The handset features 5-megapixel rear-mounted with an integrated flash. The performance of the camera is too good. Results are sharp with well-balanced colors and no motion blur. For video calling, facing camera will be a welcome addition and  a strong performer.

BBM Video with Screen Share:

You can convert BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) chat to a BBM Video conversation.  Also you can share your screen and photos.

Conclusion:

Black Berry Q5 comes in four varying hues, black, white, red and pink. It will be available in selected markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia (including the Asia Pacific region), and Latin America, with availability beginning in July.

“Why are we doing this now? It’s a statement of confidence,” Heins went on. He said that BlackBerry 10′s prospects are “so strong that we are confident that BBM can become an independent messaging solution.”
